The number one thing

Reminders that actually go off

The most common complaint about every pill reminder app is the same: the alert never fired. Sonor treats reliability as the whole job, not a feature.

  • Exact-time alarms — a dose isn’t quietly pushed to “later” when Android saves battery.
  • Persistent escalation — if you don’t respond, the reminder gets louder and can take over the screen until you do.
  • Guided setup for problem phones — Samsung, Xiaomi and others quietly kill background apps. That’s why other reminders fail. Sonor walks you through stopping it.
  • Survives restarts, needs no internet — reminders are rescheduled after a reboot and work fully offline.

Real control

Organized by prescription, not a pile of pills

Different doctors, different schedules, some with food, some for two weeks, some forever. Sonor groups your medications under the prescription they belong to — so you see what goes together, from which doctor, and for how long.

  • Unlimited medications and prescriptions.
  • Flexible schedules: fixed times, every X hours, X times a day, specific days, or “as needed” (PRN).
  • Sleep window — no alarms in the middle of the night.
  • Inventory tracking and refill reminders, so you know before you run out.

Helpful, never invasive

Private AI that lives on your phone

Sonor can make the tedious parts easier — entirely on your device. Nothing you say or type is sent anywhere.

  • Add medications by voice or text — say the schedule as your doctor said it, review the pre-filled form, and confirm. You always have the final word.
  • An in-app helper that answers questions about using Sonor itself.
  • Plain-language history summaries — a clear, descriptive recap of your intake history.

Not medical advice. Sonor’s assistant only helps you use the app. It never diagnoses, never suggests doses, and declines medical questions — those belong to your doctor or pharmacist.

Health data is yours

Your data never leaves your phone

After years of apps holding medication history hostage, Sonor does the opposite. Everything stays on your device.

No account, no cloud

No sign-up, no email, nothing uploaded. Your medication data lives only in the app’s private storage on your phone.

No ads, no tracking

No ad networks, no third-party analytics, no advertising identifiers. Nothing measures you.

Export any time

Your history is yours to keep — export to CSV or JSON to save a copy or share it with your doctor.

Read the full privacy policy — it’s short on legalese and long on what we don’t do.

Pay once. That’s it.

No subscription. No “free trial” that locks your own history behind a monthly fee. You buy Sonor once on Google Play and it’s yours — every feature included, forever. Built for people who left subscription apps and aren’t looking back.

Designed for real people

Easy to use — including for older adults

One tap and done

Large, clear text, a calm design, and one-tap dose confirmation — Taken, Skip, or Postpone — right from the reminder itself. Designed for people managing many medications, including older users and caregivers, and works with your phone’s enlarged text settings and screen reader.

History you can actually read

A clear, descriptive overview of what you took and when — your adherence at a glance, never judged, never turned into medical advice. And always exportable.

Frequently asked questions

Do reminders work without internet?

Yes. Sonor works fully offline. Alarms are scheduled on your phone itself, so they fire with no connection at all — and they survive a restart of your phone.

Is there a subscription or free trial?

No. Sonor is a one-time purchase on Google Play. You pay once and every feature is included forever. There is no free trial that later locks your own history behind a monthly fee.

Where is my medication data stored?

Only on your phone. Sonor has no account system, no cloud, no ads, and no third-party analytics. You can export your data (CSV or JSON) any time, and uninstalling the app deletes everything.

Will alarms still ring if my phone kills background apps?

This is Sonor’s whole job. It uses exact-time alarms, escalating alerts that can take over the screen until you respond, and a guided setup for battery and startup settings on Samsung, Xiaomi and other phones that quietly kill background apps.

Does Sonor give medical advice?

No. Sonor is a reminder and tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, recommend doses, or check drug interactions. For any medical question, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
